Ranbir Kapoor to fly down to Mumbai for a day

Mumbai 13th Sep 2015(Sana Sayed): Ranbir Kapoor may be shooting for another film in London but he has asked the makers of that film for a day's break to be here for the trailer launch of his upcoming film Tamasha with Deepika Padukone.

The makers of the Ranbir-Deepika film have locked 22nd September to be the date for the much awaited trailer launch.

When the date was locked, Ranbir made arrangements to fly down to be present for the same. The actor will be arriving on the same morning and then returns back on the same night.

So, he will technically be here just for some hours.There is a lot of excitement around Tamasha which is directed by Imtiaz Ali.
The  audiences can't wait to watch the content of the film as the newly released stills from the film leave them craving for more.
Ranbir-Deepika are known to be the golden pair of the industry and create magic on screen together. They were last seen together in Yeh Jawani hai Deewani.

20 feared dead in cylinder blast in MP's Jhabua

NEW DELHI 12th Sep 2015(Sana Sayed): At least 20 people were feared dead and as many injured when a cooking gas cylinder exploded on Saturday at a restaurant in Jhabua district of Madhya Pradesh, police said. 

The blast took place around 8.30am in a building housing the restaurant situated in Petlawad town, about 60km from the district headquarters, sub divisional officer of police (SDOP), Petlawad, A R Khan said. 

"Nearly 15-20 people are feared dead in the mishap and as many were injured," he said. 

Many others are suspected to be trapped in the debris, the SDOP said, adding that the exact number of casualties will be known once the debris is cleared. 

Also, the gas cylinder explosion has caused damages to a number of adjacent buildings, he said.Senior officials from Jhabua have rushed to the spot to launch rescue operations. Also, state tribal welfare minister Antar Singh Arya is expected to reach the site soon. 

Mecca crane collapse 107 dead at Saudi Arabia's Grand Mosque

The video shows that At least 107 people died and more than 230 people were injured when a crane collapsed in the Muslim holy city of Mecca in Saudi Arabia.



Mumbai 11th Sep 2015(Sana Sayed):  The huge red crane crashed into a part of the Grand Mosque - the largest in the world - that was filled with worshipers at the time.
The head of Saudi Arabia's civil defense said strong winds and heavy rains had caused the collapse.


Mecca is currently preparing for the annual Muslim Hajj pilgrimage.
Hundreds of thousands of people are expected to arrive in the Saudi city from all over the world later this month.



The collapse happened at 17:23 local time (14:23 GMT), said Director-General of the Saudi Civil Defense Authority, Lt Sulayman Bin-Abdullah al-Amr.
It happened at a time when many worshippers were there for Friday prayers.
The toll for the dead and injured, tweeted by the Civil Defence Authority (in Arabic), continued to rise throughout the evening.

Shortly before the crash, the city had been hit by unusually high levels of rainfall and winds of up to 83kph (50mph), Lt Amr said.
A video posted on YouTube, which could not be independently verified, appeared to record the moment the crane fell, with a loud crash heard in the background followed by panic and shouting.
Images circulating on Twitter showed what looked like numerous bodies and blood on the floor of the mosque.
Lt Amr said an investigation was being carried out to assess the damage, and the "extent of the safety of these sites".
Mecca is preparing to welcome Muslims from around the world for the annual Hajj pilgrimage, which begins in about 10 days' time.
Islam requires that every Muslim capable of doing so performs a pilgrimage to the site at least once in their lifetime.

Saudi authorities began a major expansion of the site last year to increase the area of the mosque by 400,000 square metres (4.3 million square feet), to allow it to accommodate up to 2.2 million people at once.

The Parle G factory experience at KidZania will allow kids to have first-hand experience of various biscuit making processes. This will help kids to understand and appreciate how their favourite Biscuit is made by Parle Products.

The process involves measuring the wheat and sugar in two beakers which will be given to the kids. They will experience how to operate a flywheel and flatten the dough, post which they would be trained in pulling the lever to bring down the molding and cutting dye. Training kids on baking, cooling and packaging processes will also be covered at the establishment. Kids will also perform a nutrition test on the Parle-G biscuits and will scale the size of the biscuit to check if it fits the particular standard laid down for the biscuits. This popular household biscuit at KidZania Mumbai is a step closer to teaching kids the intricacies involved in its production and thus will enhance the cognitive, psychomotor and emotional skills of kids.

As a part of its consumer engagement program, Parle aims to provide first-of- its kind experience that will allow kids to understand the procedure of biscuit making as well as form a closer bond with the brand.

KidZania Mumbai, to honour the Mumbai Police, this Raksha Bandhan

KidZania took kids along & tied rakhis to the Mumbai Police across 8 centers in the city as a token of gratitude for their relentless service to the city




Mumbai 29th Aug 2015(Sana Sayed): KidZania Mumbai launched its “Aamche Police Campaign” to express its gratitude to the Mumbai Police.



In the true spirit of the festival of Raksha Bandhan, kids from across the city visited KidZania Mumbai this month to make rakhis. Post this, these children along with the kids of Teach for India, visited over 500 policemen across the city to tie Rakhis yesterday, August 28, 2015, symbolizing their appreciation for the men-in-khaki. On the 29th of August (today), the KidZania Mumbai CounZil members visited the Commissioner of Police, Mr. Rakesh Maria and tied him a Rakhi as well.
Just as the custom for Raksha Bandhan goes, the police officers were very pleased by this gesture and even arranged for sweets for the children who tied those rakhis, with some of them contributing in their own way towards the cause of education championed by the kids. In addition to this, policemen also conducted a special session for the kids on self-defense and encouraged girls to be more vigilant and confident about their safety. Thus, indirectly spreading the message that by taking such actions they could make this a better world for themselves!
