Coca-Cola IPTL releases Player video to mark countdown

UAE 9th Oct 2015(Sana Sayed): The much awaited Coca-Cola International Premier Tennis League (IPTL), released an exciting new promo video featuring the biggest names in tennis, giving fans a peek of what’s in store come December 2015, whilst reliving some of the most iconic moments from the inaugural edition that saw the Indian Aces lift the glitzy trophy.
The promo video captures the palpable excitement of players as they talk about the unique features of the IPTL – the quick-paced format of the game and the team-based rivalry. Set to a racy pace, the video opens with a warning from Maria Sharapova that says “This is no regular game of tennis” with Rafa joining in to say “this is a whole new ball game.”
The 1-minute video features some of the biggest names that will set the courts on fire in less than 2 months from now  Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic, Serena Williams, Maria Sharapova, Leander Paes, Kei Nishikori, Nick Krygios, Agnieszka Radwanska, Belinda Bencic, Daniela Hantuchova, Gael Monfils, Tomas Berdych, Ana Ivanovic, Goran Ivanisevic, Daniel Nestor along with Sania Mirza and Rohan Bopanna

Mumbai 8th Oct 2015(Sana Sayed): In a first-of-its-kind effort to spread the spirit of football across the length of the city, Mumbai City FC players will now ride with millions of Mumbaikars, with branded bogies along the Central, Western and Harbour railway lines. With display branding across multiple trains on all three crucial lifelines of the Mumbai railway network, fans will now get to see their home team players greet them at multiple stations throughout the 2nd edition of Hero Indian Super League.

The football stars will adorn 36 panels on each line, and will reach over seven million fans daily. The train branding will feature players like Nicolas Anelka, Subrata Paul, Sunil Chhetri, Ashutosh Mehta and Keegan Pereira. Mumbai City FC’s message ‘Jahaan Dhadakte Hai 2 crore Dil’ is one that resonates with every Mumbaikar who is a Mumbai City FC fan, and feel a part of the larger journey as the team battle it out for the coveted ISL trophy.

Mumbai 8th Oct 2015(Sana Sayed): Amidst the frenzy surrounding the Hero Indian Super League, Ranbir Kapoor-backed Mumbai City FC is leaving no stone unturned to continue to develop football at the grassroots level. Mumbai City FC have partnered with PSL India, a grassroots football coaching, talent development, and life skills impact organization that operates two brands in the school space - Soccer Connections & Just For Kicks.

Through this partnership, Mumbai City FC will support PSL in delivering year-long high-quality coaching program in schools not just within Mumbai but also in the cities of Pune, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru. As part of the partnership, Mumbai City FC will be providing direct technical support in enhancing the coaching modules, while creating a strong pipeline for talented youngsters to get into the Mumbai City FC youth setup.

Registrations for the 2nd ‘Tata Steel Kolkata 25K’ 2015 are open

Kolkata 30th Sep 2015(Sana Sayed): After a successful inaugural edition, this December, India will witness Kolkata’s spirit and unity like never before. The online and on ground registrations for ‘Tata Steel Kolkata (TSK) 25K’ scheduled for 20th December 2015 have begun. Kolkata’s very own TSK 25K is back in a new avatar and will see participation from some of India’s finest professional athletes, serious runners, health and fitness enthusiasts during the event.

·         Registrations open at 5 pm IST on 29th September and close on 4th December, or whenever running places are full, whichever is earlier.
·         Entry fee for the 25K, Open 10K, and Ananda Run will be Rs. 650, Rs 550 and Rs 300 respectively.
·         Entry fee for Senior Citizen’s run and  Champions with Disability will be Rs 200
Race categories include the 25K run (Elite and Amateurs), Open 10K Run (Amateurs), Ananda Run (6 km), Senior Citizens’ Run (4 km), and Champions with Disability (4 km), giving an equal opportunity to all individuals to participate, encouraging an active sporting lifestyle. The feature race 25K and Open 10K Run are compulsorily timed race categories.

In addition to the prize money of Rs. 22,80,000, this year, running together can bring you even more joy with TSK 25K announcing awards for highest participation in the following categories, i.e. Social/ Sporting Club, Group (excl. social/ sporting club) and Group with the highest number of 25K/10K finishers, minimum being 15 numbers.

RUNNER ENHANCEMENTS
TSK 25K endeavours to evolve and improve while providing the best possible running experience to each participant. With this in mind and to encourage the participation of serious runners, the event will give priority in line-up to confirmed applicants of 25K Run and Open 10K Run category who have provided timing certificates along with their application forms. The line-up will be allocated based on the finish time mentioned on the timing certificates submitted at the time of applying. Detailed confirmation criterion is available on the event website.

The 25K and Open 10K runs will be prioritized in three line-up sections on race day as per the timing certificate submitted along with applications. Runners of a 10 km run finishing under 1 hr 22 min., half marathon finishing under 3 hrs, 15 km run finishing under 2 hrs. 05 min., 25 km run finished under 3 hr 35 min., and marathon finished under 6 hrs. 15 min. will be allocated Section A in both race categories. Runners will be allocated Section B and C based on a first come first serve basis on race day
